🥩 Slow Cooker BBQ Shredded Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb Chuck Roast
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Large onion, sliced
  • 6–8 Buns (brioche or hamburger)

Instructions

  1. Season the roast — Pat the chuck roast dry and season all sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Layer the slow cooker — Place sliced onions on the bottom of the slow cooker. Set the roast on top.
  3. Add liquids — Pour in beef broth, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce around the roast.
  4. Cook low and slow — Cover and cook on LOW for 8–9 hours (or HIGH for 4–5 hours) until the beef easily shreds with a fork.
  5. Shred the beef — Remove the roast, shred with two forks, and return the meat to the slow cooker juices.
  6. Build sandwiches — Toast buns if desired. Pile on the shredded beef and top with pickles, coleslaw, or extra BBQ sauce.
